Eat Healthy. Be Happy.

With the holiday season upon us, and with New Year’s resolutions just around the corner, eating healthy may be on your mind. While many delivery and takeout restaurants specialize in pizza, wings, and other foods that are not necessarily considered “healthy,” there are places at the University of Illinois that have created healthy dishes for EatCU students who have dieting on their mind.

Interested in ordering delivery but looking for low carb, dietary, or light meal options? Check out these healthy dishes from some of your favorite restaurants in Champaign-Urbana:

Rainbow Garden – White Meat Chicken with Fresh Vegetables - All entrees are served with a single order of brown rice. These dinners are steamed and served with white sauce on the side. The sauce is made with 100% vegetable oil and roasted garlic.

Burrito King – Jugoso Salad - Seasoned grilled chicken breast or steak sliced and served on top of a bed of green salad with tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, cucumbers, sweet corn, bacon and croutons. Choice of dressing.

Auntie Lee’s Chinese Kitchen – Steamed Bean Curd with Mixed Vegetables - Substitute Bean Curd with Chicken, Shrimp, or Seafood Delight.
